Mock Test, Notes, and Previous Year Papers
Analyzing previous year's papers allows you to grasp the exam pattern, anticipate question types, and learn effective strategies to answer them accurately.
Before attempting the papers, it is important to thoroughly study the course. Make sure you have studied all the subjects before attempting the papers, as this will enable you to understand the questions and answer them correctly, avoiding feelings of demotivation.
Learn the most effective approach to answer the questions, understand what information to provide without overdoing it, and familiarize yourself with the marking scheme. Begin by attempting some papers and assess your performance by scoring yourself.
Pay special attention to the questions you are not familiar with and focus on learning from them to enhance your knowledge and skills.
Once you have completed your studies, carefully analyze the papers to grasp the exam pattern, question types, different sections, and the topics that are more frequently covered. Gain a comprehensive understanding of the question paper.
Mock test papers are the most essential part of your preparation. You should attempt one every day.
Attempt at least one mock test paper every day
Attempt it in one sitting so you get used to it
Keep a record of your daily scores and evaluate
Aim to complete it in exam time
Figure out your strengths, weakness, and threats (topics you score extremely low in and cannot improve). Improve on your weaknesses and try to leave out your threats. This helps decrease any negative marking.
See which sections need help and practice them more
A good set of notes is essential for every exam as they aid in understanding the subject and serve as a useful tool for revision. It is advisable to create your own notes while attending classes or engaging in self-study as they prove to be highly beneficial.

After completing a subject, review your notes for a quick revision. Similarly, a few days before the exam, revisit your notes. During the final week of the exam, it is recommended to focus on revising your notes and practicing with mock test papers instead of learning new topics.
