The procedure of Admission: Step-by-Step Guide
So, the first step here is to check whether or not you are eligible to apply for this course, if you haven’t already.
Here are the eligibility criteria for all levels.
CSEET
- The candidate must be 17 years old or above
- Candidate must have passed class 12th in any discipline except fine arts from a recognized board or university
- Graduates and Post Graduates can also apply
CS Executive
Now, there are two ways to get entry into CS executive course. You can either sit for CSEET and clear the exam or get direct entry with the following exemption scheme.
Here are the conditions in which you can get direct entry to CS executive.
- If the candidate has passed the final level examination of the CA course granted by The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.
- If the candidate has passed the final level examination of the CMA course granted by The Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of India.
If you come under any one of the situations mentioned above, you will not have to sit for CSEET and get direct entry to CS Executive.
CS Professional
Only after clearing both modules of CS Executive, you can take admission to CS professional course.

Registration
To take admission in a CS course, you have to register for the level you are currently pursuing i.e., CSEET, Executive or Professional. For this, there are two directions you can step into. You can register offline or you can register online.
Offline mode
For offline registration, you can download the application form from the official website of ICSI and print it out or you can get one directly from a regional council/chapter. After that you will have to fill it out and submit it along with the registration fee and documents required to the regional council/chapter itself. You would have to submit a challan for the fee paid.
The Institute of Company Secretaries of India urges students to apply online for security reasons. The online process is also much easier and smoother to follow.

Registration for CSEET
- On the website, click on “Online Services”
- From the dropdown menu, choose “Register for CSEET”
- Read the details provided and click on “proceed with registration”
- Now, you will be required to fill out your details and upload the requested documents
- Recheck your details, complete payment, and save your transaction ID
Registration for CS Executive
- On the website, click on “Online Services”
- From the dropdown menu, choose “Register for CS Course” (if you are taking direct entry) or “Registration for CSEET passed students in the executive program” (if you passed CSEET)
- Read the details provided and click on “proceed with registration”
- Now, you will be required to fill out your details and upload the requested documents
- Recheck your details, complete payment, and save your transaction ID
Registration CS Professional
- On the website, click on “Online Services”
- Choose “Students Portal” in the drop-down menu and Login to your account
- Go to my Account and click on the option “Professional Registration”
- Now you will be required to upload pass mark sheets of your executive exams
- After that, you can proceed with fee payment and your registration is done

The registration fee for the CSEET exam is Rs.1,000/- (Rupees One Thousand Only) per appearance.
CS Course fee for CS Executive
The registration fee for the CS Executive exam is Rs.2,000/- (Rupees Two Thousand Only) per appearance.
Additional fee structure may include:
- Education Fee: Rs.6,500
- Pre-exam fee: Rs.1,000
- One day orientation fee: Rs.600
- Subscription to journal (optional): Rs.500
- Exemption from CSEET fee: Rs.5,000

CS Course fee for CS Professional
