The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) announces CA Final result a few weeks after the exams are held. The result is announced on their official website. ICAI will release the CA Final result date to students prior to the declaration. Students can download their results by logging in to the examination portal using their registration number. ICAI CA Final Result – Passing Criteria
To pass your CA exam, you need a minimum of 40% in all individual subjects and an aggregate of 50% in total. So, if you studied well and understood all the concepts and topics thoroughly, then surely you will be able to pass and perform well on your CA exam.
ICAI CA Final Result – Merit List
ICAI releases a merit list soon after the result is declared. This merit list will contain the names and ranks of the top 50 scores in the CA Final exam. It will also be released on their official website. You can check the merit list by following these instructions.

ICAI CA Final Result – Verification of Answer sheets
After viewing the result, if you feel there might have been some errors in checking, you are not completely sure if the marking on your paper is done right, and you can apply for verification of your answer sheets. This can only be done within one month of the declaration of the result. A fee of Rs.100 will be deducted for the verification of each paper.
How to apply for verification?

- Now, log in with your id and password
- Select the “verification of sheets” option
- Upload a scanned handwritten application for the verification of answer books.
- Select the papers you want verification in
- Pay the application fee
- You will receive a notification once the verification procedure is completed
ICAI CA Final Result – Obtaining Copies of Answer Books
Students can apply to obtain certified copies of their answer sheets within the given deadline provided by ICAI. They will have to pay a fee of Rs.500 for obtaining answer sheets for each paper. The procedure for applying for the same is given below.
