CMA Inter Registration 2023: Important Dates, Steps To Register

CMA Intermediate Registration: The Institute Of Cost Accountants Of India(ICMAI) has opened the registration for CMA Inter 2023 examinations. Students who want to appear in the June 2023 exams must register on or before 31st January 2023. CMA Inter registration can be done on the official website. Steps to register online, documents to be uploaded, fee structure and last dates to apply will be provided in detail further in the article.

How To Register For CMA Intermediate?

CMA Intermediate registration can be done in two modes; online and offline. For the online mode of registration, you can visit ICMAI’S official website and register. For the offline mode of registration, you can download the form or get a physical copy from a regional office of ICMAI. The Institute of Cost Accountants of India urges you to complete your CMA registration through online mode to avoid fraudulently. 

Who Can Register For CMA Intermediate?

The Eligibility Criteria for CMA Inter are as follows: 

Passed Senior Secondary School Examination  /  Higher Secondary Examination (10+2)
Passed the Foundation Course of the Institute of Cost Accountants of India
or qualified the Foundation (Entry Level) Part I Examination of Certificate in Accounting Technicians (CAT) Course of the Institute of Cost Accountants of India
or Degree examination of any recognized University
or Pursuing Engineering Course (having completed 2nd year/ Semester IV/equivalent)
or Qualified Engineers or equivalent in any subject other than music, dancing, photography, painting & sculpture, and the likes

CMA Inter Registration Last Date

ICMAI holds Intermediate examination twice a year, in the month of June and in the month of December.

CMA Intermediate admission is open throughout the year. Students who wish to take the examination in the month of June must register on or before 31st January of that year. Similarly, students who wish to take the examination in the month of December should register before 31st July of that year.

If a candidate missed the above-mentioned last dates to register, a week’s extension is available to register but an additional late fee will be charged.

CMA Intermediate Registration: Steps To Apply

You can follow these steps for a simple and easy CMA Intermediate registration process

Step 1 – Visit – ICMAI’s official website
Step 2 – Click on the ‘Students’ tab
Step 3 – Click on the ‘Admissions’ tab
Step 4 – Click on the red coloured link ‘Online admission’ on the left side of the page
Step 5 – Choose which course to apply for – intermediate
Step 6 – Fill out the information asked. You will also have to select which type of coaching will you be taking for the respective course, oral or postal coaching. After filling in all the details, it will generate an OTP. After which Login credentials will be sent to your registered email id. 
Step 7 – Now you can start filling out the admission form, fill in your details, verify them once again and save. 
Step 8 – After filling in the information, you will be required to upload the requested documents.
Step 9 – Pay the registration fee. 

After you pay the fee for your registration, a receipt will be generated. Download it.

Document To Upload

These are the documents you will have to upload during the registration procedure:

  1. Passport size photo
  2. Specimen signature
  3. 10th & 12th mark sheets
  4. Age proof
  5. CMA Foundation mark sheet(or any other degree certificate mentioned above)

CMA Inter Registration Fee

During the registration process, students will have to pay a registration fee to complete the process. CMA Intermediate registration fees can be paid in two instalments. 

CMA Inter Registration Fees 23,100 INR 1st instalment – 12,000 INR
2nd instalment – 11,100 INR

After registration, make sure to download your admit card in due time. ICMAI releases admit cards a few weeks before the exam date. Admit Card is a compulsory items which students must carry to the examination hall. It can be downloaded from the website itself.
