ICMAI has established four regional councils in four different parts of India, residing in Kolkata, Mumbai, Chennai, and New Delhi

What are Regional Councils – SIRC, NIRC, WIRC, and EIRC of ICMAI? To understand this firstly, we need to know what is ICMAI? The Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of India (ICMAI) is a professional accountancy body and is the only recognised professional organisation and licensed body in India that specialises exclusively in cost and management accountancy (CMA). It is under the ownership of Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Government of India.

Anyone who wants to be certified as a CMA, is required to register with ICMAI and complete all levels of examinations provided by them. ICMAI has established four other regional councils in four different parts of India, residing in Kolkata, Mumbai, Chennai and New Delhi, to cater the needs of people residing in these areas. The head office of ICMAI is situated in Kolkata and operates through all other 4 reginal offices.

These Regional Offices are:

  1. Southern India Regional Council (SIRC), Chennai
  2. Northern India Regional Council (NIRC), New Delhi
  3. Western India Regional Council (WIRC), Mumbai
  4. Eastern India Regional Council (EIRC), Kolkata

SIRC of ICMAI – Southern India Regional Council

SIRC OF ICMAI is the regional council body for southern areas of India established by the Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of India. It caters to the needs of students, members, industry and public residing in the states of Tamilnadu, Telangana, Kerala, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh and the union territory of Pondicherry. There regional office is in Chennai and operates through 24 chapters and 26 CMA support centers in all over southern India.

SIRC of ICMAI – Southern India Regional Council, Offers the following facilities to it students:

Eastern India Regional Council – EIRC of ICMAI

EIRC of ICMAI is the regional council body for eastern areas of India established by The Institute of Cost Accountants of India to cater the needs of students, members, industry and public residing in eastern states. EIRC of ICMAI has its regional office located in Kolkata and operates through 24 chapters and over 25 CMA support centres in all over Eastern India.

Eastern India Regional Council (EIRC OF ICMAI) Offers the following facilities to its students:

  • Online services such as online admission, examination form, training form, admit cards, exam result etc.
  • Learning resources such as study material, mock test papers, Scanners, MCQs, etc.

NIRC of ICMAI – Northern India Regional Council

NIRC of ICMAI is the regional council body for Northern areas of India established by The Institute of Cost Accountants of India to cater the needs of students, members, industry and public residing in Northern states. There regional office is in Delhi and operates through over 30 chapters and various support centers in all over Northern India.

There regional office is in Mumbai and operates through 25 chapters and various support centers in all over Western India.
